Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney was born on the 19th of November, 1959. 2. She is an American actor. Her roles on screen and the stage have been a hallmark of her professional career, which spanned three decades. Janney has received various accolades which include the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as the Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations for 2 Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston as a child, but was raised at home in Dayton (Ohio). Janney was awarded a scholarship to education at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. After years of minor and insignificant appearances on TV and films Her breakthrough came when she played her role as C. J. Cregg in The West Wing, an NBC political drama The West Wing (1999-2006) where she earned 4 Primetime Emmy Awards. Because of her character Margaret Scully, a Showtime actress in"Masters of Sex," a period television drama Masters of Sex, Janney took home an award in 2014 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Actress as a Guest in a Drama Series. Her most well-known role was her portrayal Bonnie Plunkett.
