Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and a quarter Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. Her mother comes from Spanish and English ancestral roots. There are five siblings, four from her father's prior marriage. Families resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and when they relocated to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been traumatic and that she was unable to go back to school in English in the hope of return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend when she switched from Northlands. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. In the year she turned 16 she left school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid and was sure she would eventually become one. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a position as a model.
